Raritan Valley Community College

Registration Procedure

If you, the prospective student, are still in high school, at least 16 years old, and have a B or better grade point average (GPA), you are eligible for the RVCC Early Credits program (considered dual enrollment). To enroll, complete the registration form and prepare a transcript of the the courses you have completed during your high school years (including a GPA and a projected graduation date). SAT or ACT scores can be used for course placement, if you have them. It is useful to have an idea of what class you want to take--see the RVCC course catalog for a listing of classes.

Once you have the paperwork ready, schedule an appointment with Barbara Luby in the Admissions Office. Ms. Luby regularly works with homeschoolers interested to begin taking college classes.

Given in-person testing restriction due to COVID-19, placement testing is using an alternative procedure.

Tuition for dual enrollment for high school students is now the regular tuition rates for in-county (or out-of-county) students.
